Cost Effective – NuPlay is very cost effective compared to the time and money that takes to replace a playground surface. With NuPlay’s great rating for fall heights, you only need approximately half the depth to equal the safety of materials such as wood chips, gravel and sand.
Safety - One of the most important benefits of NuPlay loose fill rubber playground surface is the safety that it provides to children. NuPlay is completely free of steel belts. The U.S. Product Safety Commission cites falls to surfaces under and around playground equipment as a contributing factor in more than 70% of the reported 2000,000 cases. Creates a soft and resilient surface to help reduce the stress on joints and bones. IPEMA Certified for public play surfacing materials. Approved by the Environmental Protection Agency and proven non-toxic by and independent lab, Northwest Laboratories of Seattle, Inc. Reducing allergy risks, NuPlay provides years of safe play.
Clean – Enables children to stay cleaner when jumping and falling on the surface because it will not create dust, decompose, rot or absorb water. NuPlay drains well and dries quickly so children can return to the playground sooner. NuPlay UV protectant colours will not stain clothes. Another benefit of coating the rubber is that it will not have the rubber dust that comes from the black rubber, while being completely non-toxic.
Colourfast Colours - NuPlay™ is available in a wide variety of colours, which will last 10+ years without fading, to liven up the look of the facility. The colours available can match your play system and landscaping needs. We have Black, Caribbean Blue, Earthtone, Forest Green, Grass Green, Redwood and Weathered Oak.
100% Recycled - Made from 100% recycled rubber truck tires. These tires are shredded and coloured to produce cost effective rubber mulch that benefits the environment for future generations by disposing of old tires.
Longevity – Will not rot or compact even after years of use. It is five times heavier than wood mulches; thus, it will not blow away. Lasts up to 10 years without fading and 25 years without decomposing.
Warranty – NuPlay™ comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty on colourfast.
